We’ve been invited to spend the day visiting the Six Nations reserve and celebrating “Reciprocity with Our Neighbours”. There are six spots left. We will carpool from the church parking lot to Ohsweken, leaving at 8:45 a.m. and returning by 4:30 p.m. The bus tour starts at 9:30 a.m. If it is easier for you, you can meet us outside the office of the Six Nations Language Commission at 50 Generations Drive, off Hwy 6 and 4th Line by 9:30 a.m.
We are asking congregants to pay-what-you-can to cover the cost of $70/person for bus tour and lunch. Please let us know if you have room for passengers in your car or if you need a ride. Participants are encouraged to attend a circle meeting after Sunday service on Nov. 6 to go over details of the trip and learn more about cultural sensitivities.
To sign up and for more information, please contact Nancy Willson or Marion Sneyd.
