Service Leaders: Social Justice Team
As a faith community, what is our covenant with the community and the larger world? As a congregation, can we create images of a Just Society? Today we explore these ideas from a spiritual perspective, living our mission to serve our community and inspire action that heals the world.
We follow up from last week’s Martin Luther King Service where Rev. Jamie and Tim asked us to contemplate a Just Society more broadly.
The service begins with some images of the current state in our community and asks us in meditation to imagine/picture a different Hamilton. In the service you will have a chance to share your meditative thoughts and hear those of others. The service ends with a call to action for advocacy and witness.
