Event Details

Speakers: Rev. Kierstin Homblette Allen, Beverly Horton

Having “The Talk,” most often refers to that awkward but necessary parent/child conversation about sex.  In this service, Rev. Kierstin Homblette Allen will join Beverly Horton for a talk about responding to (often unwitting but sometimes overt) racist speech and behaviour.  Rev. Homblette Allen is the Program Director for “Beloved Conversations,” a program for Unitarian Universalists seeking to embody racial justice as a spiritual practice.
