“Co-creation” is a form of collaborative innovation in which ideas are shared and improved with others, creating solutions that reflect the diverse perspectives of all participants. In this service, the lay chaplains at the First Unitarian Church reflect about the ways in which their work is an act of co-creation. To craft meaningful rites of passage, they draw on the perspectives and values of those they serve, ensuring that the ceremony truly reflects what is most important to the people involved.
