The Climate Emergency: Myths, Misconceptions and Hope for the Future
We begin 2023 more aware than ever that climate change is a global emergency. The past year
brought calls for action from two international conferences and images of death and destruction
due to extreme weather, drought, floods and fires. Clearly we are all part of the problem and
immediate action must be taken. So what keeps us from acting? This service will examine some
of the misinformation and narratives that create barriers to making change. We will also hear
about innovative work being done by young people around the world determined to create a
better future.
