Thank you to everyone who reported their summertime climate actions. The carbon footprint in the lobby was covered in stickies. These actions will all be documented and shared. One household e-mailed us with their list of 12 actions including “taking time to enjoy the birds and squirrels in the trees outside our windows”. We aren’t sure what the carbon impact of this action is but connecting with nature certainly makes a person feel better. That is important in these anxious times.
Behavioural scientist Dr. Jiaying Zhao from the University of British Columbia believes that people are more motivated to take climate actions that make them happy. Join Zhao and Greenwich the vegan bunny to learn about actions that have happiness as well as climate benefits.
