Clothing, Food, and Recyclable Bags are needed.

EVA ROTHWELL CENTRE UPDATE:

September has been a month of reimagining the layout of the Clothing Room and the processes that maintain best practices for working with our clients.  I would like to thank those who made the changes possible, including Ann Loree for her expertise in design and Bob Loree and Norm Ayerst for bringing their carpentry skills to the project.  Thank you!!   And thanks to the volunteers who attended meeting for the Cashiers on Sept. 9th and the General meeting on Sept. 13th to hear about the changes and to make further suggestions for how to improve the Clothing Room operation as well as those who gave extra hours to make the rooms ready for our Tuesday morning opening.  I also want to thank those who have taken on extra responsibilities for on-site management and as support for the cashiers while I am away.

We are now transitioning to the Fall/Winter season and look forward to your donations.  As before, you can either take them directly to the Eva Rothwell Centre on Wentworth North or leave them at the church.  If you come to the Eva Rothwell Centre when the clothing room is open, come for a tour!  You will be impressed!  The Clothing Room is open Tuesday from 10am to 12pm and 3pm to 5pm and Thursday from 10 am to 12 pm.

Note that grocery bags and recyclable bags are needed as well as seasonal clothing and donations for the Emergency Food Pantry.
