- Former Assistant Deputy Minister with the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Research and Innovation
- Director of Air Policy and Climate Change at the Ministry of the Environment during 1997 Kyoto Protocol negotiations
- Head of programs developing energy conservation, supporting innovation across the country
- Engineer with experience in the energy industry, Ontario and UK
