Recently gender has become a battle ground.
But who are the real radicals? Perhaps the real radicals are the ones forcing a restrictive idea of gender. Isn’t it more radical to say that a person only fits neatly into one of two categories regardless of personality, self identity and self expression? Who is really indoctrinating children? If the idea of boys and girls is so natural, why does it need to be defended and enforced so vigorously?
Gender should be a playground – not a battleground. A place to explore and try things out. Gender is a sacred part of us. Become Curious, Conversant and Courageous
This series is for you if:
- You feel like everything is changing when it comes to gender, and you are not quite sure what’s going on.
- You feel comfortable in your gender.
- You are questioning your gender.
- You don’t feel comfortable in your assigned gender.
- You want to be a better ally to transgender and nonbinary people.
- You don’t really understand what the word gender even means.
