Housing Event: June 6th with Dr. Carolyn Whitzman

What can we learn from affordable housing abroad to help with our housing affordability crisis us in Hamilton?

Dr. Carolyn Whitzman, University of Ottawa. June 6/23 7pm. This event will take place on Zoom.

Dr. Carolyn Whitzman, an adjunct professor at the University of Ottawa, will be guest speaker Tuesday June 6, 7 p.m. for the next session of our series, Housing Affordability: Moving from Promises to Reality.

Dr. Whitzman will talk about her research on affordable housing in Europe and how it can be applied in Hamilton. Dr. Whitzman is also working with the University of British Columbia and various municipalities, including Hamilton, on a tool that all municipalities can use to measure in detail the housing needs of the community which she’ll briefly describe.
