One of the most exciting pieces of housing news in 2024 was the creation of the Caroline Street Housing Co-operative. In a bold move, the tenants in the building bought it from the landlord when he put it up for sale. Learn how they did that at the Affordable Housing Team’s next event on Saturday afternoon and evening, May 10 in our sanctuary. Plus learn about co-op housing, how its self-management works, how it delivers affordable rental units and strong communities, and how we can get more badly-needed housing units built—or purchased!
