At our March 15, 2022 webinar, The Case for Co-ops, presenters noted that Ontario’s funding formula for housing co-operatives had a peculiar problem that threatened existing co-ops. The Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada has announced that changes made at the end of March should fix that. Doug Sider, with the Golden Horseshoe Co-operative Housing Federation, confirmed that the campaign to Fix the Formula is over, but the details of the new formula still need to be worked out.
