No Hate In The Hammer Event, March 23rd

No Hate in the Hammer in partnership with Sisters in Spirit is presenting the 4th in a series of programs.  This time it is focused on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Trans and Two Spirit and the fact that too little is being done and immediate action is needed. Details are below, attendance can be virtual or in person.

The issue of Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women, Girls, Trans and 2 Spirit individuals (MMIWGT2S) is still unrecognized and in need of immediate action.

Join the 4th session of NHH in partnership with Sisters in Spirit Hamilton that will discuss this topic with:

  • Norma Jacobs, Ongwehowe elder. mother and grandmother 
  • Doctor Beverly Jacobs, Senior Advisor to President on Indigenous Relations and Outreach, University of Windsor
  • Rebecca Hammond, Policy Counsel – Aboriginal Justice Strategy at Legal Aid Ontario and member of the Sister in Spirit Committee Hamilton
