Online Worship

Effective December 12, we plan to resume in-person Sunday worship in our Sanctuary for those who are double-vaccinated.  Live streaming of our services will continue via Zoom or YouTube – Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m.  See below for details.

  • The first part of each service involves readings, homilies, hymns, and other kinds of music, much like our regular in-person services.  Consider having your own chalice to light, and maybe another small candle to light for joys and sorrows. If you have a hymnal, keep it handy for hymns. 
  • The second part of the service is for those participants who choose to chat with others in small “breakout rooms”.

Send any Joys & Sorrows to be read during the service to caring@uuhamilton.ca  and any Announcements to worship@uuhamilton.ca.  Please try to send them before Saturday at noon, as we can’t guarantee that they will be read if received later.

  • Everyday Joy

    Join us this Sunday morning for a rekindling of Everyday Joy. Joy doesn't have to be an arduous task, but we need to make sure we practice joy or we will forget it's importance. We will also be covenanting with out new Lay Chaplains this Sunday, bringing life to our relationship, and the importance of community support.


  • Third Spaces For Joy and Resistance

    “Where two or more are gathered…” Guest speaker Jody Aberdeen shares how “third spaces”, both personal and in community, create openings for joy and resistance in times of crisis, drawing on elements from lived experiences, spiritual wisdom, biodiversity, placemaking, cuisine, martial arts, and pop culture. ~ This worship service will be led by Jody Aberdeen and Irene Kaye


  • Easter Spirit Zones

    Join Rev. Danie and the Climate Justice team for a new and exciting Earth Day Easter Service. With Spirit Zones around our campus we will have many opportunities for all to experience the joys and miracles of the earth and of Easter.

    Join our Carolinian Gardening Team as this Sunday as we welcome the Spring and celebrate the Equinox. We will have several Spirit Zones, all focusing on our outdoor space and preparing for the coming gardening season!
