Thursday, June 2nd is Election Day!
If you have not already done so, make sure to make your voice heard in the provincial election.
Among the many factors to consider when voting are the major parties’ positions on funding to support the needs of Two Spirit and LGBTQIA+ Ontarians.
QueerVote assessed the responses of the major parties to a questionnaire, the results of which can be found here. QueerVote’s coalition includes dozens of Ontario organizations, including several local to us:
- The AIDS Network of Hamilton, Halton, Haldimand, Norfolk and Brant;
- YWCA Hamilton; and
- Hamilton Trans Health Coalition.
