Several health organizations and the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness have issued a 13-point call to action by the federal and Ontario governments to deal with the complications the Omicron COVID variant is creating for people experiencing homelessness. The calls range from specific COVID-related measures such as providing masks, tests and vaccinations to a moratorium on evictions and financial support for tenants behind in their rent.
