The Board has committed to the development of a strategic plan in 2020. Board member Jennifer Kaye has volunteered to facilitate the work of a strategic planning task force, which will do research, consultation and analysis to develop sound strategic options for the church. This work is all about the future, and making sure that we are ready to embrace whatever change is necessary to ensure a healthy UU presence in Hamilton for the longer term.
The Board is currently seeking members for this task force, which will include 2-3 Board members. Ideal task force candidates will have:
an interest in “the big picture”
an ability to envision futures that look different from the present
skills in research, consultation, and/or analysis
the ability to commit time to this project during 2020, with the heaviest workload occurring in the spring.
Overall, the task force members will bring a range of perspectives to their work, through diverse identities and lived experiences.
