Sheelah & Martin’s Garden in the Spectator

A special congratulations!

The June 5th Hamilton Spectator’s Arts and Life section featured Sheelah and Martin’s spectacular native plant garden. In this outstanding article, Sheelah describes the history of their garden and its function in promoting biodiversity and a healthy community. They welcome the multitude of insects and creatures of all types eating the leaves and laying eggs. Sheelah says, “That’s not something I complain about. That’s exciting. That’s the paradigm shift.” Talk about active hope!
