Social Justice Team Continues to Learn – A Message from Monica Bennett
Here’s a change that I recently learned about… rather than use “2SLGBTIQ+”, we now use “Two Spirit LGBTIQ+”. Indigenous people want us to use the full words, not the initials. The phrase is an English version of an Indigenous concept to begin with, so we want to be respectful by using the full phrase. We are learning all the time, and that’s what Unitarianism is about.
