As you know, over the past eight months my family and I have been participating in a contest through Canadian Geographic called Live Net Zero. During the contest we have been working to reduce our emissions through a series of six challenges. At the end of each challenge as a creative way to summarize our learning we rewrite the lyrics to a song (e.g. The End of the Line became Now is the Time, Home for a Rest became Our Home is Our Nest).
We asked musician friends (and my grade 4 class) to learn, perform, and record the songs… which we will share via zoom on Sunday February 25th at 4:00 p.m. We are calling it Songs for Change. Save the date! The concert will be approximately 45 minutes long and it would be wonderful to see you there. If you would like to attend, please RSVP.
