Hamilton Sex Workers’ Action Program (SWAP) Opens Physical Space
SWAP Hamilton has opened a drop-in centre to support sex workers in our community. The space contains a variety of resources and will host community and education events such as film screenings. Additionally, on-site counselling will be available for sex workers, provided by psychotherapist Arleney Jane Pitts, who has experience in sex work herself.
The Grand Opening of the space will be on Monday June 6th from 7-9:30 (all welcome).
Congratulations to SWAP and executive director Jelena Vermilion, and our gratitude for their work in supporting and elevating the voices of sex workers in Hamilton.
