Social Justice Circle Meeting
Thank you to all those who came out to the Social Justice Circle Meeting on Sunday March 19th. We reviewed what we have achieved over the past year and talked about tangible actions we can take as a congregation and as individuals.
- Organizing social justice events
- Supporting Sacajawea’s fundraising initiatives
- Click on the petition to broaden the definition of homelessness (see below)
- Supporting EcoLocke climate action events
- Investigating sustainable agriculture
- Expanding clothing room supports
- Supporting other areas at Eva Rothwell – e.g.: monthly food drive in collaboration with CYRE
- Participating at Hamilton Pride

One suggestion we will be investigating will be more direct ways to connect congregants with Social Justice volunteer opportunities.
