The best Canadian documentary at last month’s Hot Docs film festival in Toronto will be featured at a Hamilton Alliance for Tiny Shelters fundraiser at the Playhouse Theatre June 20, 7 p.m. “Someone Lives Here” is a film about a young carpenter Khaleel Seivwright (left) who built insulated life-saving tiny shelters for people sleeping outside in Toronto Parks during the pandemic. His humanitarian efforts were thwarted at every turn by the city of Toronto. Come and see this deeply moving film, which will be followed by a question-and-answer session with Khaleel himself.
Early-bird tickets are $20, with all proceeds going to the Hamilton Alliance for Tiny Shelters. Buy them HERE
