Bill Johnston, co-chair of our Affordable Housing Team, delivered the sermon for Homelessness Sunday last weekend (April 30/23) at St. Paul’s United Church, Dundas, trying to offer some perspective and strike a hopeful note. It was greeted with applause! About 70 people stayed after the service to ask Bill questions. It is really proving useful to have our Affordable Housing Team and their Affordable Housing and Homelessness Subcommittee working together, as we are on the June 6th event, Housing Affordability: Moving from Promises to Reality with guest speaker Dr. Carolyn Whitzman from the University of Ottawa.
