A big thank you to everyone who signed letters to our politicians last Sunday, urging greater investments and other needed policies consistent with the huge size of the housing affordability crisis. Forty-five of you signed letters and 410 of them will soon be in the mail to our MPs, MPPs and mayor.
Oops. Help us correct a mistake we made. Come out Sunday and sign letters to City Councillors
We drafted letters for you to sign to city councillors last week but somehow didn’t put them out. So, look for us in the foyer next Sunday and we’ll have letters asking council to fund two things, a small pool of money for new housing, needed to win approval for much larger federal funding, and funds to enforce tenants’ protections unanimously approved this past summer. Without the money, we just have words.
