Amid the COVID crisis, as many tenants struggle to pay their rent, the Ontario government has introduced and is moving ahead with Bill 184, which tenant groups say weakens protections for tenants. The Affordable Housing Team, as noted in past Social Justice Friday emails, is concerned about the lack of financial help for tenants.
