Each year at our Christmas Eve service, our offering is donated to a local charity. This year, donations will go to our housing partner Sacajawea Non-Profit Homes, which started work this fall on a 40-unit supportive housing project on Gage North and will soon begin a 30-unit project just up the street at 195 Dundurn South. Our donations typically help pay for furnishings or equipment not covered by government grants. Donations can be made by cheque made out to the church, with Sacajawea in the memo, or online, again with a memo that the money is for Sacajawea. Your generosity will help Sacajawea meet the housing needs of Indigenous Hamiltonians who experience greater housing challenges than most city residents.
