On February 12th, we asked you to speak out about a last-minute motion to cut Hamilton’s budget for the Office of Climate Change Initiative and Climate Change Reserve. Council received dozens of letters and the motion was defeated.
Councillors did approve a deferral to 2027 of $706,580 to build a bike bridge across the Red Hill expressway, saying the project timelines would not have it start in 2026 in any case.
