Thank you for all your support for the Food Drive at the Spring Festival. We collected three trunks-full of food! Much more than we expected and more than we would normally receive on our monthly Sunday Food Drive day. We met several people who were new to the area and stopped in to see what was going on, so it was a great opportunity to share information about the church and social justice. As our goal was collecting food and educating people new to the church and/or area, I believe we met our goal. It was a bonus that Sam Campanella, the Executive Director from the Eva Rothwell Centre, and his wife Maria stopped in, on their way to celebrate their 23rd wedding anniversary.
