DONATIONS
Donations of Spring and Summer clothing are now welcome. We’ve caught up and are looking to build a supply of lighter clothing for the Spring/Summer season. As always, we need MEN’S, YOUTH, AND CHILDREN’S clothing and footwear as well as Women’s.
Two Requests:
1. Please restrict donations to a two-bag limit and ensure that all clothing and bedding is clean and in good condition.
2. It is also helpful if clothing is in clear bags, and/or labelled with contents.
Donations may be taken directly to the EVA ROTHWELL CENTRE at 460 Wentworth St N, Hamilton, just North of Barton. Call first at (905) 526-1558 and identify your donation as coming from the First Unitarian Church. VOLUNTEERS
We are limited to the hours we can open as we need more volunteers to work with the clients. To meet this need, we need volunteers who are able to come in during the afternoon shifts when they start in April / May. We are hoping to begin on Tuesday afternoons, from 3-5 pm so it will still be only two hours. AND we will still be wearing masks and distancing (volunteers and clients). These are the rules of the Centre.
