Summertime Schedule

July 2022

Dear Members and Friends,

July has arrived and I am taking time to rest, renew my spirit, and enjoy plenty of summertime adventures. I am in Hamilton during the first part of July and can be reached for emergency pastoral care as needed. You can email me at jamie@uuhamilton.ca or call/text my cell phone.

From July 15th-31st I am out of the country and unavailable. Stephen Atkinson will provide emergency pastoral care during that time. You can reach Stephen at atkinson.sr@gmail.com. You can also call the church office and the Support Services Manager, Chris McCoy, will be happy to give you Stephen’s cell phone number. This summer the congregation will complete a project to improve hearing accessibility in our sanctuary. The property team welcomes volunteers to help clear out the Sanctuary on Saturday, July 16th from 9am-3pm in preparation for the construction. Everyone is welcome to stop by join the property team in preparing our sacred space for this exciting update.

The Sanctuary will be under construction from July 17th – July 31st. We have arranged the following online services for those Sundays:

July 17th –10:00am Join Service at the First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa. Service can be access online here: https://www.youtube.com/c/OttawaFirstU

July 24th – 10:30am “Woven in a Single Garment of Destiny”. A full-length video worship service offered by the UUA exploring and celebrating hallmarks of our Unitarian Universalist theology. You can access the service, and stay for coffee hour at:
